Beijing served as the capital for 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent by the heavens. Begin your city tour with a visit to the Summer Palace, built in classical Chinese style in 1750 as a royal recreational resort. Among its famous features are the 700 meter long corridor with its wonderful Painted Gallery, the Marble Barge, and several magnificently painted pavilions and pagodas. The next stop is the Palace Museum, more commonly known as the Forbidden City, until recently, opened only to the emperor’s family. This complex, the largest imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings with 9,000 rooms, resplendent golden- glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. See the high-walled “Inner City” with its government buildings. Sightseeing continues at the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed to heaven for a good harvest.

Here is your chance to climb the Great Wall of China! This wonder of the world, built 2600 years ago was one of the two man-made structures seen by the naked eye of US astronaut Neil Armstrong from outer space. Later visit the Ming Tombs, the burial place of thirteen emperors and their families of the Ming Dynasty. Year-long excavations have uncovered many rare treasures such as the gold roayal crowns and the silk robes. Tonight’s special dinner gives you a real taste of the Peking Duck.

Take a morning flight to Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province which is at the center part of China. Upon arrival, go to visit the Shaolin Temple which is well-known in Asia for Chinese Kongfu. Every year, many foreigners come to the temple to learn Chinese Kongfu. Afterward, drive to Luoyang, an ancient capital, overnight in Luoyang.

Visit White Horse Temple which is the first buddhism temple ever built in China, then go to visit the Dragon Gate Grottos which is a World Culture Heritage. Then drive back to Zhengzhou and overnight there.

One day tour to Kaifeng, another ancient capital. Visit the Minister Temple, the Baogong Ancestral Temple, the Iron Tower, the Dragon Pavilion and the Ningguo Street. Overnight in Zhenzhou.

After a relaxed breakfast in your hotel, transfer to airport for your departure.

Arrive in Beijing, You will be welcomed by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

See Tiananmen Square, then the ancient Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace and the beautiful Summer Palace. Walk through traditional courtyard neighborhoods dating Ming Dynasty, Beijing’s Hutongs. Enjoy a famous Peking duck dinner.

Full day excursion to the Great Wall of China that now offers a cable car to the summit. Later, on the return, drive along the famed Sacred Way to visit the museum of the Ming Tombs. Enjoy a traditional Chinese entertainment while sipping the tea and local dessert delicacies in Laoshe Tea House.

Early morning, board an Express Train to the capital of Henan province, Zhengzhou. The train arrives in the late afternoon, and you will check directly into your hotel.

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the bank of the Yellow river, along which the Chinese culture originated. That is why the Chinese regard the Yellow river as the Mother River. You can climb a little into the mountain to have a view of the grandeur of the river valley. After you continue to drive to the Dengfeng city, where the Shaolin Temple is located. Check into hotel.

In the morning, you will visit Shaolin Temple. Spend your whole day here to savor the Buddhism culture and art in this 1400 years old Temple. In the afternoon, you can enjoy an exciting martial art performance by the Shaolin monks. Stay overnight nearby the temple to talk with them or exercise with them.

Today is free time. You can practice the Martial art, or you can visit the nearby shops or villages, or just relax.

Drive to Luoyang, a historical city who was the capital of China for nine dynasties. You will visit one of the three most famous Stone Carvings in China-the Long Men Grottoes which is a World Culture Heritage. Evening: check into a hotel in Luoyang.

Depart Luoyang to Xi’an by bus. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Visit the ancient city wall, and the Wild Goose Pagoda.

Today you will be marveled to see the life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors, who have been standing underground to protect the tomb of the Chinese first emperor for over two thousand years. Also, you will visit the famous Shaanxi Provincial museum. Evening: enjoy a colorful music and dancing dinner show in Tang Dynasty Style.

Morning is free to explore in Xi’an to do some shopping. Afternoon: you will be transferred to the train station for an overnight train back to Beijing.

Upon arrival in Beijing , you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore.

After breakfast, your tour guide will transfer you to the airport to see you off.
