Zhenjiang is a fresh and beautiful city on the southern bank of the Yangtze River. It is inlaying at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

It  connects Nanjing to the west and Shanghai to the east. Across the Yangtze River, on the north bank, lies the city of Yangzhou. Covering an area of 3,843m2, it has a population of 2.89 million, among which 1 million are urban residents.
