Day 01 Entry Shanghai
Upon your arrival in Shanghai, you will be met by our guide and escorted to your hotel.
Day 02 Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Yuan Garden and the Bund. Enjoy the Portman Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Shanghai Museum: The museum boasts over 120,000 pieces of collection, including bronze, ceramics, paintings, calligraphy, sculpture, ancient Chinese coins, jade furniture, and western art.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower: With a height of 1,245 feet, it is one of the tallest structures in Asia.
Yu Yuan Garden: A traditional Chinese park complete with beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations.
The Bund: With a length of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various grandiose solid buildings of western style dating back to the early this century in its west. Due to these imposing buildings, the bund is also reputed as “an international exhibition of architecture”.
Day 03 Shanghai - Suzhou
Take the soft seat train to Suzhou. Visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden, the Tiger Hill, and the Garden of the Master of the Nets.
Humble Administrator’s Garden: It covers 4 hectares in northeast Suzhou. It is the largest garden of the city and a typical example of the art of horticulture south of the Changjiang river.
Tiger Hil:l The most famous sight of Suzhou, with old trees and cultural relics everywhere.
Garden of the Master of the Nets: Built in 1174 A.D. during the Song Dynasty, is characteristic of the most exquisite garden-houses in Suzhou.
Day 04 Suzhou - Wuxi
Take soft seat train to Wuxi. Visit the Taihu Lake, the Liyuan Garden and the Turtle Head Islet.
Taihu Lake: With an area of 2250 square kilometres and an average depth of 2 metres, Taihu Lake (or Lake Tai) is the third largest freshwater lake in China. Some 90 islets, large or small, plus the presence of many fleets of fishing junk boats add to its landscape, making it a remarkable spectacle.
Liyuan Garden: One of the famous gardens for lake scenery in South China since the 40% of the garden is covered with water.
Turtle Head Islet: Wuxi’s most attractive park and the best place to admire the beauty of Taihu Lake.
Day 05 Wuxi - Zhenjiang
Drive to Zhenjiang. Visit the Jiao Hill and the Jin Hill.
Day 06 Zhenjiang - Yangzhou
Drive to Yangzhou. Visit the Slender West Lake, the Geyuan Garden and the Daming Temple.
Slender West Lake: The lake which boasts many famous scenic spots, such as the White Pagoda, the Five Pavilion Bridge, and Xiaojin Hill.
Geyuan Garden: Geyuan Garden was built during the reigns of Emperor Jiaqing (1796 - 1820) and Daoguang (1821 - 1850) of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911), famous for rockeries which are piled up with Mount Huang and Lake Tai stones.
Daming Temple: An ancient monastery with a long history of more than 1500 years.
Day 07 Yangzhou - Nanjing
Drive to Nanjing in the morning. Visit the Dr. Sun Yatsen’s Mausoleum and the Nanjing Museum.
Dr. Sun Yatsen’s Mausoleum: Sun has been respected as Father of Modern China since he fought unyieldingly against the corrupt Qing government (1616-1911) and led the 1911 revolution to end feudal system and found Republic of China (1912-1949), leading Chinese people into a new era.
Nanjing Museum: The museum has a collection of more than 420 thousand pieces, including about 2,000 rare and valued ones.
Day 08 Nanjing - Beijing
After breakfast, visit the Yangtze River Bridge. Transfer to the airport for flight to Beijing.
Visit the Summer Palace.
Yangtze River Bridge: An important symbol of Chinese self-reliance and until the late 1970s, the story of its construction was often told in primary school textbooks.
Summer Palace: A magnificent imperial garden, the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for emperors.
Day 09 Beijing
Visit the Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in the evening.
Forbidden City: Used to be the imperial palace of the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties.
Tiananmen Square: Tian’anmen was the front gate of the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. In front of the gate is the world’s largest open ground in the city - the Tian’anmen Square.
Temple of Heaven: An outstanding representative of Chinese traditional architecture for its clever design and harmoneous colors. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the emperor came to pray and thank gods for the harvests every year.
Beijing Duck Dinner: The most delicious food Beijing has to offer.
Peking Opera: The most influential and representaive of all operas in China and has a history of about 200 years.
Day 10 Beijing
Take an excursion to the Badaling Great Wall and the Ming Tombs.
Badaling Great Wall: The best preserved part of the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644) Great Wall.
Ming Tombs: The mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The mausoleums have been perfectly preserved.
Day 11 Exit
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure,
end of service.
