Zhuhai is not really a top tourist destination. Most people visit on business, for conferences or
as a stopover on their way to Macau.
Still there are a few sights worth mentioning: The New Yuan Ming Palace, opened in 1997, was built after the imperial palace of Yuan Ming Yuan in Beijing which was burnt down by the British and French forces during the Second Opium War. The Four Buddhism Tourist Area is an area contains miniatures of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains (Emeishan, Putuoshan, Wutaishan, Jiuhuashan.) The Jiuzhou Cheng Shopping Centre is another reproduction of old Chinese architecture.
